Selfling is a Canadian tech startup that is dedicated to bridging the gap between teens and the vital services that they need to guide them, protect them, mentor and advocate for them. Agencies like ConnecTeen, Kids Help Phone, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada, and others fight every day to reach vulnerable youth and give them valuable support for issues like mental health, bullying, abuse, trauma, and peer pressure. Yet, somehow, so many teens are left wandering, anxious, and alone without anyone to talk to them or guide them. The Selfling Teen Support Foundation was founded to help expand the reach of teen support agencies by creating a new networking system, the Selfling Teen Support App, where teens can meet and engage with the providers of these incredibly vital services.
